Since I last blogged

Filling you in on some of the things happening since I last blogged:

I was without internet and telephone for 4 days. It felt like months. Can you say withdrawal pains? At least I got a few books read.
The gardener and I had an appointment to renew our drivers licenses. His expired the first of the year. Mine expired in December and I have been complaining about it ever since..letters to the newspaper etc. For some reason ( inefficiency maybe?) the government couldn't issue new drivers' licenses for our "new country" so hundreds of us have been driving around with no drivers license.
What a sad state of affairs.
But now I almost have it. I pick it up on Monday...hopefully!

Also since I last blogged the gardener bought these chairs.
I was shocked at the colors but they actually look sort of cute.

The weather has been fantastic. It was cool and breezy but then suddenly the wind died down for a few days and it got hotter. But now the wind is picking up again. Hopefully it will stay that way for the Heineken Regatta which is coming up.

The gardener will be playing Popeye the Sailor Man again this year.

Also it was so great to final meet Dee during my past trip.
